As part of our trip to Bryce Canyon National Park, Sue and I visited some of Utah’s beautiful state parks, including, Kodachrome Basing State Park and Fremont Indian State Park. We also took a beautiful drive along Highway 12, designated as an All-American road. The scenery was beautiful. In this episode, Sue and I talk about this part of our trip to southern Utah.

In the March 2014 issue of Sunset Magazine, Nevada Barr writes a wonderful essay on the beauty of our National Parks and the reason we should all visit them and enjoy what we can get from them that can be gotten from no where else. She says:…
I know that everyone is ticked that they can’t go our National Parks while the shutdown is in place. I’m with you and I can’t imagine how frustrating it might be to have had a vacation planned where you were going to visit a favorite park or a park that you had never been too. I hope they get this resolved so that OUR National Parks and Monuments will be open again….
