After our trip to Mount St. Helens, how could we pass up Lassen Volcanic National Park? Lots of interesting things to see and do, and my solo hike had an interesting twist!

Our visit to the Pacific Northwest concluded with a trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. My father told me that I had visited the park when I was a baby, even getting carried to the top in blanket between people, so this was actually my second trip. There is beautiful scenery, great hikes, solitude and thermal features!
