2013 Trip to Yellowstone
I’ll admit it. Yellowstone National Park is one of my favorite places to visit (perhaps only second to Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada). I love the “out of this world” feeling that some of the areas give. I love the beautiful valleys with the rivers flowing through them. I love the mountains and the incredible forests. After hitting Yellowstone several times last year, we visited again in the summer of 2013. Other than seeing virtually no animals, we had a great time….

We’ve got episode 6 of the All Around The West Podcast ready to go! In this episode, we talk about our great trip to Craters of The Moon National Monument. We tried this visit in April 2011, but there was still 3-4 feet of snow on the ground, so didn’t get very far. Visiting in August was very different and we had a great time. This is such an amazing place with volcanic rocks and features galore.
